Aims of the Project:
To provide a new entry level pathway into an apprenticeship/traineeship within the Building & Construction industry.
Provide an opportunity for students considering a career in the Building & construction industry to experience multiple trades which will assist them in making an informed career choice.
Students who have a goal to enter into an apprenticeship/traineeship are well informed of the tasks, training requirements and employer expectations in their career of choice.
Students gain the knowledge of the Industry work expectations in regard to work readiness including language, literacy, and numeracy levels, WHS knowledge, and practical skills.
Trades that will be experienced across the state:
- Carpentry
- Electrical
- Joinery
- Bricklaying
- Plastering
- Glazing
- Metal Fabrication
